Bardsea Leisure Centre is where we have bought our last two caravans when you get two nights on the site for free and when we have otherwise stayed there it has been to have the van serviced when they add the pitch fees to the service bill so we have no clue as to what the nightly fees are, what we do know is that the facilities consist of individual unisex showerrooms that are large clean, heated in winter, and with plenty of soap, hand dryers and loo roll.
The pitches that we have used are fully serviced including TV, the site is in an old quarry and the high side shield both terrestrial and satelite signals. A fairly long lead is sometimes needed but the site will loan you one at no cost (although a returnable deposit is required).
There is a daytime snackbar, children playground and well stocked accessory shop on site. There is a wealth of things to see and do in the area.
